As a teaching Practice, Duet ABA offers families a unique advantage: more support, more collaboration, and more eyes on your child’s progress.

Most cases at Duet ABA include a BCBA, a practicum student, and an RBT or BT working together as part of your child’s care team.

This means:

  • Your child benefits from additional attention and support

  • You receive insights from both seasoned professionals and emerging clinicians

  • Our team stays sharp, reflective, and committed to continuous learning

Families are always informed about who is working with their child, and participation in the practicum model is completely optional. You can opt out of student involvement at any time—no pressure, no judgment.

  • A free phone call where we learn about your child, your goals, and your concerns. No pressure—just a chance to connect.

  • We conduct a thorough evaluation to understand your child’s strengths, needs, and behavior patterns. This helps us build a personalized plan.

  • You’ll receive a clear therapy plan and meet your care team, which may include a BCBA and a practicum student. We’ll walk you through every detail.

  • Therapy begins in your home or daycare, with ongoing communication and collaboration every step of the way.

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach to understanding and improving behavior. At Duet ABA, we use ABA to help children build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

  • It means we train future behavior analysts right here in our clinic. Most cases include both a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a practicum student working together to support your child. Families can opt out of student involvement at any time.

  • Yes - ABA therapy is most effective with family participation! Parents will meet at least monthly with BCBAs to discuss progress, next steps, and how to run interventions when the treatment team isn’t there.

  • We provide services in your home or your child’s daycare. We believe therapy works best in familiar, natural environments.

    Need help with everyday tasks like grocery shopping or attending family gatherings? We're here to support your family in navigating challenging situations and finding practical ways for your child to join in and thrive.

  • Our founder specializes in severe behaviors - but safety and progress are always first. We will work with you to determine if Duet ABA can support your needs, or help you find a better support option if needed!

  • At Duet ABA, we want to ensure the best possible match between your family and our care team. If a staff member isn’t the right fit, we absolutely work with you to find a better match. However, because of scheduling and availability, we can’t always guarantee an immediate replacement. We’ll keep you informed and prioritize continuity of care as we find the right person for your child.
